Does Mindbody integrate with Mailchimp?
Not directly. Mindbody’s help center says “the Mindbody software does not integrate directly with MailChimp”. It offers two workarounds: export a client list and import it into Mailchimp, or connect a Prospect or Registration widget so new sign-ups land in a Mailchimp list. Both only move names and emails. Mailchimp never learns who visited, who bought a membership or who stopped coming.
Pandaflow keeps Mailchimp in step with Mindbody. Every client is added to your audience with tags and fields for their visits, memberships and intro offers, updated as they book and buy. You describe what you want synced, and Pandaflow’s AI agent sets it up and keeps it running.
What syncs from Mindbody to Mailchimp?
| Mindbody data | Mailchimp result |
|---|---|
| New and updated clients | Audience contacts (name, email, phone, birthday) |
| Email opt-in status | Subscribed only when the client opted in |
| Membership status | Tag, such as Member or Membership cancelled |
| Intro offer purchase | Tag, such as Intro offer, with the purchase date |
| Last visit date and visit count | Merge fields you can segment on |
| Location | Tag or group per location |
The direction is Mindbody → Mailchimp. Mindbody stays the record of who your clients are; Mailchimp gets what it needs to send.
Emails studios build on this
- Intro-offer follow-up. A welcome the evening someone buys an intro offer, a check-in after their second visit, and a membership offer before the intro expires.
- Win-back. Members whose last visit is more than three weeks ago get a friendly nudge, and stop getting it as soon as they book.
- Member-only news. Workshops and events sent only to active members, using the membership tag.
- Birthday and milestone emails. Triggered from the birthday and visit-count fields.
How does it compare to other Mindbody Mailchimp options?
| Export and import | Mindbody sign-up widget | Pandaflow | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Adds new clients | Manual | Only widget sign-ups | ✓ All clients |
| Visits and memberships in Mailchimp | ✗ | ✗ | ✓ |
| Stays up to date | ✗ | New sign-ups only | ✓ |
| Also syncs QuickBooks, Shopify, Meta | ✗ | ✗ | ✓ |
General automation tools can also connect the two if you build and maintain the steps yourself. Pandaflow fits when you’d rather describe the outcome and let the agent handle the setup and repairs.
How to set it up
- Start free and connect Mindbody and Mailchimp.
- Describe what you want, for example: “Add every Mindbody client who opted in to email to my Mailchimp audience. Tag members and intro-offer buyers, and keep last visit date and visit count up to date.”
- Check the first sync in Mailchimp, then build your first segment, such as intro-offer buyers with no membership.
